Privacy notice
When you send an enquiry
MAKTABI stores the contact details and message you provide to respond to your enquiry. We record your contact permission separately from your optional permission to receive marketing messages.
How you found us
We include available campaign parameters, advertising click identifiers, the referring page and the page where you enquire. We also record browser and language information and an approximate location supplied by our hosting provider. A keyed hash of your network address helps limit automated submissions; we do not store the raw address with your enquiry.
First and last campaign visits are kept in this tab’s session storage so they can accompany an enquiry during your visit. They are not retained in persistent browser storage. If browser storage is unavailable, attribution is kept in memory for the current page.
Maps and video
Google Maps and YouTube are embedded directly in the page and load automatically as you browse. Loading an embed connects your browser to Google, which may receive your network address and browser information and use its own storage. See Google’s privacy policy for details.
Storage and delivery
Enquiries are stored in our Payload CRM using Neon PostgreSQL. Authorised staff can access them. When connected, our webhook sends enquiries to our automation service for follow-up. Website images are stored in Vercel Blob.

Website measurement and advertising
When enabled, Google Analytics measures page visits and interactions, and Microsoft Clarity provides session recordings and heatmaps. Enquiry forms are masked for Clarity. Customer.io records website activity and, if identification is enabled, links a saved enquiry to your contact profile to support follow-up. When its server integration is configured, we also send the saved enquiry’s contact details, company, interest and permission record directly to Customer.io. Permission to receive marketing messages is recorded separately on the enquiry form.
Google Ads and Meta measure saved enquiries as conversions. If enhanced matching is enabled, normalised email addresses and international phone numbers are hashed before being shared with Google Ads, Google Analytics through its dedicated user-provided data feature, and Meta. Hashing does not make this data anonymous. These services may receive technical information such as your network address, browser information and advertising identifiers, use cookies and process data outside the UAE.
Our general analytics events do not include the name, email, phone number or message entered in an enquiry. An optional, signed server-to-server integration can also deliver conversion information to our automation service. Spam protection
Our enquiry forms use Google reCAPTCHA v3 to help detect automated abuse. When a page containing an enquiry form loads, your browser connects to Google. Google may receive technical information, including your network address, browser information and interaction signals, and set a security cookie. We verify a short-lived token before accepting an enquiry; we do not store that token with your lead or send it to our webhook.
