Safety First
Emergency & Security
Please familiarise yourself with the emergency procedures and evacuation routes displayed in our elevators and reception area. There are two fire exit doors and emergency staircases on opposite sides of the floor — one after the pantry and ladies' washrooms, the other at the end of the golf alley adjacent to the gentlemen's washrooms.

When calling, state your name, location (Sheikh Rashid Tower, DWTC), and describe the emergency.
Security: Keep main entrance doors closed and report any suspicious activity. The space is monitored by CCTV. Smoking (including e-cigarettes/vapes) is strictly prohibited inside the business center — please use the designated smoking area on the ground floor.

Security
Door Access Control
All members with monthly or annual memberships must provide their Emirates ID or passport copy, contact information, and register for biometric door access.
For package upgrades and additional team members, notify the operations team to enrol them in the access system.
If a team member leaves your company, inform the operations team immediately to disable their access privileges.
The access control reader is on the left side of the main entrance door frame. To exit, press the "push to exit" switch on the right side — ensure the door is closed behind you.
Hot Desk members: please clear your desk completely at the end of each working day. Desks are shared and must be left tidy and ready for the next member.

Kitchen & Dining Lounge
Features a Dallmayr Coffee Machine, water dispenser, microwave, fridge and kettle. Cutlery and plates available — please wash after use. Food left in the fridge more than 3 days will be discarded unless labelled. Eating is reserved for the dining lounge — not in meeting rooms, phone booths or common areas.

2 Meeting Rooms — each seats up to 8 people
1 Conference Room — seats up to 16 people
All rooms are equipped with: 70" Smart TV, HDMI cable, USB-C converter, whiteboard/flip chart, stationery. Extra hours beyond your allocation are invoiced monthly.

How to book
Phone Booths
3 private phone booths available on a first-come, first-served basis — reserved for phone or video calls only. Usage is capped at 1 hour to ensure all members have fair access to this shared resource.

Cleaning Services
Housekeeping cleans and sanitises private offices and all common areas 3 times a week. Our office assistant empties trash cans daily or as needed. Report any spills or incidents immediately for prompt attention. Please use designated bins for waste disposal.

Landline & Call Management
Members with yearly packages can share the MAKTABI landline to receive calls — messages are carefully noted and relayed promptly.
Private office landline: AED 599/month — includes unlimited local calls, phone installation and your own extension line.
For a direct independent landline with your chosen provider, contact us for details.
PO Box Access
Yearly members with Flexi-Desk and Private Office plans may share our PO Box number. We collect, store and notify you of incoming mail or parcels.
Business Address & Mail Management
AED 499/month excl. 5% VAT
For clients needing a business address to list on their website, business cards or letterheads — we offer a comprehensive mail management service: handling your mail and parcels, safely stored and promptly notified to you.
Essential Services
Printing Services
Printing and copying are free up to your membership quota. The quota is not cumulative.
Beyond the quota: AED 1 per black/white page · AED 2 per colour page — invoiced monthly.
To print, contact our team for assistance — we will set up the printer on your laptop. Alternatively, send your file to office@maktabi.ae and we'll handle it.
MAKTABI is not liable for missing confidential documents left unattended at the printer. Please collect your prints immediately.

Visitors
Kindly register all guests at reception prior to accessing the premises.
Guests must be accompanied by you at all times. You may use common areas, reserve a meeting room, or receive guests in your private office.
A guest staying more than 2 hours on a daily basis will be considered a new member of your team — unless hosting an event or workshop with prior notice to management.
Earn a Referral Bonus — up to 10% commission
When you refer a guest who signs up for any membership package (excluding daily and weekly passes), you earn up to 10% commission. Ask reception for details.
Mail & Deliveries
We provide a complimentary service for managing your mail and parcels as part of your membership.
If we missed your delivery, please collect it from reception. MAKTABI is not responsible for deliveries made outside business hours or left unattended.
Food deliveries: Per Sheikh Rashid Tower guidelines, please collect food deliveries from the ground floor of the building.

🎧 Please use headphones when listening to audio or taking calls at your desk. For online meetings, video calls, or any voice conversations, kindly use a meeting room or phone booth — this keeps the coworking area comfortable and focused for everyone.

Conduct yourself in a professional and respectful manner at all times.

Respect the privacy of others — avoid confidential conversations in public areas.
Observe designated quiet hours to maintain a peaceful environment.
Use common areas responsibly and clean up after yourself.
Take responsibility for your personal belongings — MAKTABI is not liable for lost or stolen items.
Refrain from soliciting business within the center without prior approval.
Professional networking is encouraged — just be mindful of those around you.
